Welcome to AxiomIQ. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at axiomiq.org (the “Site”), which is operated by an individual doing business as AxiomIQ (“AxiomIQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

1. Description of the Site

The Site is a free educational resource offering a collection of mathematics and logic puzzle problems across topics including probability, game theory, combinatorics, logic puzzles, and statistics. Each problem includes a statement, a difficulty rating, and a solution. The Site is a companion to the AxiomIQ channels on Instagram (@axiomiq.official) and YouTube (@axiomiq.official). The Site is fully static, with no backend of any kind: it requires no account, collects no personal information through its own code, and charges no fees.

2. Eligibility

The Site is not directed at children under the age of 13. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age or are using the Site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Intellectual Property

Our content. The Site’s original content, including its wording, presentation, layout, design, solution write-ups, explanatory text, and the selection and arrangement of materials, is owned by AxiomIQ and is protected by applicable copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Third-party problems. Many problems presented on the Site originate from public mathematics competitions, interview archives, research papers, and academic texts. AxiomIQ does not claim exclusive ownership of any problem it did not originate. Rights in such problems remain with their respective owners. What AxiomIQ claims is its own wording, presentation, and solutions as published on the Site.

Attribution and removal requests. If you are a rights holder and believe that material on the Site has been used in a way that infringes your rights, or if you would like attribution added or corrected, please contact us at info@axiomiq.org with a description of the material, its location on the Site, and the basis of your claim. We will review such requests promptly and in good faith, and will remove or correct material where appropriate.

4. Permitted Use

You may access and use the Site for personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes. Subject to these Terms, you may view, solve, and share links to problems freely.

You may not, without our prior written permission:

  • Reproduce, republish, or redistribute the Site’s solution write-ups, explanatory text, or presentation in bulk, whether commercially or otherwise;
  • Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or systematically copy substantial portions of the Site’s content;
  • Misrepresent the Site’s original content as your own work;
  • Use the Site in any manner that violates applicable law;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation, security, or availability of the Site or its hosting infrastructure; or
  • Remove or obscure any copyright or attribution notices contained on the Site.

Nothing in these Terms restricts any rights you may independently hold in problems that AxiomIQ does not own, or any use permitted by applicable law, such as fair use.

5. No Accounts and No User Content

The Site does not offer user accounts, logins, comment sections, or any means of submitting content to us through the Site. Any text you type into the Site’s answer boxes or search bar is processed entirely within your browser and is never transmitted to us. Accordingly, these Terms contain no provisions governing user-submitted content, because none exists.

6. Educational Purpose and No Guarantee of Accuracy

The problems, solutions, difficulty ratings, and other content on the Site are provided for educational and recreational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that any problem statement, solution, or other content is complete, correct, or free of errors. Content on the Site does not constitute professional, academic, or examination advice, and you should not rely on it as such. You are responsible for independently verifying any solution before relying on it.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site contains links to third-party platforms, including Instagram and YouTube, and loads typefaces from Google Fonts. We do not control third-party sites or services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of any third-party site or service is governed by that party’s own terms and policies. See our Privacy Policy for details of the limited third-party services involved in serving the Site.

8. Availability of the Site

The Site is provided free of charge, and we do not guarantee that it will be available at all times or free of interruptions. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site, or any part of it, at any time without notice and without liability to you.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ON IT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL AXIOMIQ OR ITS OPERATOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF AXIOMIQ AND ITS OPERATOR FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED TEN UNITED STATES DOLLARS (USD $10), REFLECTING THE FACT THAT THE SITE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AxiomIQ and its operator from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Changes take effect upon posting. Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the Site.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that the state and federal courts located in the State of Washington will have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, except where applicable law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.

14. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AxiomIQ regarding your use of the Site.
